Kool-Aid Man

This is a vintage PBR sign behind the bar at The Levee in Williamsburg, one of my new favorite places.

It's run by some people from Texas, so they have Lone Star beer and Frito Pie.

I've often lamented that Phoenix doesn't have its own cheap locally-made beer.

Chicago has Old Style.

Texas has Lone Star.

The local breweries and what they offer are neat, but not really iconic.

Also, Phoenix doesn't really have a distintive, specific food item that it's known for.

Austin (and parts of Texas) have breakfast tacos.

Philly has cheesesteaks.

Chicago and New York have pizza variations.

I've been trying to remedy that and have tried to come up with something cool, but it mostly ends up being ridiculous rather than something Phoenicians actually eat.

This is the Family Guy pinball machine.

I took this picture for Shn who couldn't make it out to DCM this year.

There's also an art exhibit at some museum here that is all art inspired by the Family Guy.

I'll catch it if I have a chance.
